BOPP Laser Holographic Film with Primer Coating Plastic Roll Film Used for Label Printing Facestock

MEMBRANE PET LIGHT RED, USED IN PRINTING AND COATING,NON-POROUS,NOT REINFORCED, NOT SELF-ADHESIVE, NOT IN WORD( 0.016)MM X (1020)MM/12 ROLLS.

NEW 100%; Red-tinted PET film, used in printing and coating, non-porous, unreinforced, non-adhesive, unprinted, (0.016)mm x (1020)mm / 12 rolls. 100% new.

MEMBRANE membrane 7 COLOR OIL TREATMENT WELCH(MPET HOLOGRAM FILM COATING OIL ) 0

BOPP Holographic Substrate Film is used as a carrier film to transfer the holographic pattern to substrate materials. It could be used in anti-counterfeit trademarks and packaging, and also the high grade packagings for cigarette box, wine box, food, drinks, cosmetics, tea box, gifts, etc.

Main Characteristics

* Excellent barrier properties (low permeability of steam and oxygen)

* Silver aluminium apprearance effect (High gloss on the metalized side/High protection against light/Great whiteness)

* Good flexibility, easy labelling

* Good stiffness, easy peeling to improve labelling efficiency (Excellent adhesion on the side of aluminum)

* Suitable for UV ink printing and barcode printing

* Stable coefficient of friction

Core Applications
Enhanced Adhesion: BOPP is a non-polar material with low surface energy. The primer contains polar groups such as carboxyl and hydroxyl groups, which form hydrogen bonds and an "anchoring effect" with the corona-treated film surface, significantly enhancing the bonding strength between inks, adhesives, topcoats, and the substrate. Adhesion can be improved from ≤2B to 4B (ASTM D3359), with rub resistance >500 cycles (ISO 15750), preventing ink peeling, delamination, and flaking.
Optimized Printing Performance: The primer improves film surface wetting and leveling, reducing defects such as craters, pinholes, and orange peel, resulting in more uniform and vibrant print colors. It also inhibits ink penetration into the film, improving pattern clarity and abrasion resistance, and is compatible with various systems including solvent inks, UV inks, and metallic inks.
Enhanced Lamination and Post-Processing Performance: In the lamination process, the primer acts as a transition layer to strengthen the interlayer adhesion between BOPP and substrates such as aluminum foil, PET, and PE, improving the peel strength and temperature and humidity resistance of the laminated film. It also enhances the adhesion of pressure-sensitive adhesives and functional coatings (such as barrier and antistatic layers), and is compatible with post-processing such as die-cutting and bag making.
Functionalization and Compliance with Safety Standards: It can introduce functions such as antistatic, chemical resistance, and barrier properties, meeting the hygiene and protection requirements of food and pharmaceutical packaging. Using FDA-compliant formulations (such as PEI-based), ensures packaging safety.
Adaptability to Production and Cost Reduction: The primer dries quickly, making it suitable for high-speed production lines such as gravure, flexographic, and roller coating. It also reduces the amount of topcoat/ink required, lowering unit costs and improving product competitiveness.
Applicable Scenarios
Food/pharmaceutical packaging films, label printing, composite films (e.g., BOPP/AL, BOPP/PET), self-adhesive materials, functional films (antistatic, barrier films), etc. Typical Process and Selection Considerations
Process: Corona treatment (5–10 kW, 50 m/min, surface energy > 50 mN/m) → Primer coating (dry film 1–3 g/m²) → Drying → Printing / Lamination / Top coating.
Selection: For food packaging, water-based, low VOC, and FDA-compliant systems are preferred; primers for lamination must be compatible with adhesives (such as polyurethane adhesives), considering both temperature resistance and peel strength.
